Dreadful!!
Ordered a Samsung phone purely for the free Nintendo Wii and Gaming Projector - at £25 a month for 24 months - £600 total..
That I can cope with.. What I couldn't cope with is the absolutely shocking customer service and process. First of all they messed up my order and didn't send the claim form for the Wii, only the projector - so I called to be told that they can't send a claim form for it out and I should just write on the projector form that I'm entitled to the Wii when I send it in.
Luckily I had the order reference email which stated the free gifts I was entitled to, so be sure to keep that (wait, I'm not advocating buying from these guys at all!)
So, when my first bill arrived I duly paid it straight away and sent all the details to Beepy - including a note that said please call or email using my details I left on the form, to let me know you have received - no call so I called them to confirm - they said I'm not entitled to a Wii - I told them I was and that I spoke to X on XX day who told me to do all that crazy stuff with the form.
28 days after that, no Wii - so I called again to find out where it is - "we'll call you back in a while" and no call back - so I called back again "we'll call you back" no call - so third time I asked for a supervisor - David, who literally promised that he would call me back on Monday (it was Friday around 5:30pm) and no call came again.
So, I sent a letter to the Managing Director by recorded delivery, the next day I got my first ever call from Beepy, a supervisor called Janet who questioned why I had sent a letter in (well, let's face it, I got a call from you eh!) and that I had to wait until the following Wednesday, and if it hadn't turned up then she would "personally take on my case and get it sorted" - I told her "this is the first call I had from them, after having spent 5 hours of my own time and money contacting them, and said thank you, one call in all this time, just one call after being promised by no less than 4 different people would have placated me", instead they don't get in touch and it leaves people really riled up.
Wednesday came, no Wii, but left it until Friday for Christmas post delays sake - the projector turned up on Friday - no Wii - so once again a call went in to Beepy and I was told that I wasn't entitled to a Wii - "READ THE F****** NOTES ON MY ACCOUNT BECAUSE I'M SICK OF HAVING TO RE-TELL THE SAME STORY OVER AND OVER" - "oh dear" he said, "well i'll have to (you guessed it) call you back"
No call once again - so I'm fuming, once more - then today I called to be told that as the Wii had been processed on the 24th november (only 2 1/3 months already late!) that it would be with me before Christmas - I'm now waiting on a call back from Janet - though I won't hold my breath..
Overall:
Friendliness 4/10
Customer Service 2/10
Call-backs 0/10
Supervisor IQ - 1/10
Speed of delivery (phone) 8/10
Speed of delivery (free gift) 0/10

Hello, we are very sorry to hear of your experience with this partner, service standards are very important to us and our users. I have personally contacted the company today for a full response. On receipt I will contact you directly via your email address, thank you for your feedback, although negative on this occasion it is invaluable to us.
2:14 pm
Well, I'm left slightly stunned Neil - it seems that whatever you said or did has actually gotten somewhere and I received an email two days ago to say my Wii would be despatched asap..
While I thank you for your help, I really wish it hadn't been necessary for you to intervene.
Thanks again!

8:49 am
was about to order a t-mobile contract. I thought might check any review regarding beepy. and i was lead to this site. dont think i would place order. rather would opt some other site. charges 30£ more for the same deal but has good reviews. I liked the beep website though simple and concise unlike others. but cant take risk, due to my prev exp with other providers.
3:58 pm
I placed an order with Beepy that has been confirmed today, after reading these reviews was not counting on next delivery lol, in the email they sent telling me that my order was agreed they also said I would receive an email shortly confirming it had been dispatched. I have also emailed them asking them if they can let me know the expected dlievery date due to needing to book the day off to ensure I am in. Well they shut at 5pm and it is now 4.57pm no email so far so looks like no next day delivery then hey!!
I will update on here tomorrow, really hoping to be able to give a good review
4:07 pm
To add a little more to the comment I posted, I have also seen reviews of Beepy on other sites now (most bad) complaining about not having orders dispatched due to the phone not being in stock even though the site states it is. I have no problems with it being delayed due to this, I do however have a problem with them not informing people it is out of stock as I feel as customers we should have a choice not to continue with the order if it is out of stock or choose another phone instead. I am hoping this is not the case with me but not feeling all that positive after the reviews I have seen and from now on will be checking reviews of sites I use thoroughly before placing orders.
10:29 am
Just as I had expected OUT OF STOCK!!!!!! even though the website clearly states it is in stock, I am not impressed at all as the only reason I have been told is because I emailed them asking.
Surely that is not the way things should be done, I dont think i would recommend them to anyone.

We are sorry to hear about this issue, as a company we took the decision to remove Beepy.co.uk from our comparison platform in
May this year, this was due to customer service issues similar to yours.
This commerical decision was taken to protect our visitors/consumers. Partners have to maintain a good standard of service to maintain in our
comparison results and I'm happy to say we have not had further issues with partners we currently have on board, however it is a procedure to monitor
complaints periodically and take the appropriate action to maintain standards.
If we can be any further assistance please contact us by return.

I ordered and received my Blackberry Curve around five months ago. I have had amazing Customer Service from Beepy with any little query I have had, and they even replaced my Blackberry after two months upon finding a fault with it. I was really confident that I had found a good, reliable company in beepy.co.uk but I am having major issues with communications now and issues with the line rental redemption.
I have sent three emails to the cashback claims department asking whether they have received my cashback claim (I know they have as I received my proof of postage via Royal Mail online), all of which have been ignored (I presume since I have had no replies at all!!). I have also sent three or four emails to the Customer Service Department, who have responded initially saying that they would contact the claims department and get back to me. It has been a fortnight now, and my emails are now being largely ignored by this department.
Having sent my claim forms in in November, I would have at least expected a confirmation email from the company as is stated in the Terms and Conditions, not to mention that I would have expected responses to my communications. I am not happy about this at all, and find the whole situation disappointing and frustrating. I feel that if I'd have to recommend beepy.co.uk to anyone, I really don't think I could. Trading Standards are my next port of call.
4:03 pm
Optimistically placed my order last night, received the order and network accepted emails from Beepy this morning, stating I would "shortly" recieve a dispatch email, it has now been 6 hours since that email and have just come across all these distressing reviews.
4:05 pm
I ordered a phone from Beepy in early January. They are without doubt the worst company I have ever purchased any item from. Their processes are a disgrace and their customer service is woeful. They activated my sim (so starting the contract i.e. my bill), lost that sim, so put the phone 'on the side' in the warehouse - but then did not contact me or make any effort to resolve!! Thus I was paying for a contract when the phone had no possibility of being sent!
Efforts to resolve this only commenced when I phoned them. In the end it took me 8 calls, totalling 3 hours, at premium rate, to get the phone sent!! I was promised calls back on 3 occasions, none of which was followed up on, so I ended up calling again and again talking to incompetent staff with no ability to resolve any problems.
Since then, I have made my feelings clear to their customer service rep who decided I deserved compensation for their breach of terms (i.e. initiating the contract without sending the product). She went to her superiors, who said that all I could have is a cheque for less than the total I have paid my contract provider - let alone compensation for my time and money calling them up... Now 4 weeks on, and I have not even received the insulting compensation they offered or any communication from them!
They are a disgrace, and if this site has any power whatsoever it should endeavour not just to get Beepy off this site but out of the mobile market completely. I honestly cant see how they arent breaking the law they are that bad! BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK!
8:22 am
Glad I found this site, was going to buy from Beepy but don't think I'll bother now, cheap contract but think the hassle outways the price.
5:31 pm
I will not be dealing with them ever again. Pay a bit more money elsewhere and get good customer service. I guarantee that you will be paying more money by calling their premium rate service than the money you actually save.
10:28 am
Hi all, I have had nothing but trouble with Beepy since December 2009 and the matter is still unresolved. I sent their phone back the day after I had received it as I was being mucked about by the joke they call customer service! They have kept the £25.00 that they took out of my bank account and no amount of e-mails or phone calls will get them even to speak or acknowledge me.
Now, this morning I have had a debt collectors letter from Orange who want £23.00 for something or other, when I did not even take out the contract or use the phone as it was sent back immediately. So much for having 7 days to change your mind.
The debt collectors now want me to produce evidence of returns from 6 months ago, so that they can submit it to Orange, without this I am up a creek without a paddle. To say I am p***** off is an understatement.
What is wrong with these people.
4:49 pm
I have rang and rang about my phone ever since I had it, I have had no signal anywhere I go and everytime I call I hear nothing from beepy I just want to know if I am entitled to a new one, I have had my phone for just under a year I think and have'nt been able to use it properly so I'm bit annoyed that I can never get straight up answers for my questions.
9:01 pm
I ordered my Land Rover S1 phone from Beepy in January this year, with the added 'bonus' of a G4 orange Land Rover branded bike for my son. The phone arrived straight away with no problem, but the gift needed to be claimed by redemption. After several emails asking the whereabouts of my bike after sending the documentation in, this was the first response I got:
"I have today heard from the dispatch company that the bike you have ordered has been discontinued, this is what has caused the slight delay. I have arranged for the 2010 model to come out to you, I have been informed that this is of equal specification to the bike you ordered"
Fair enough I thought, I can wait a few weeks, even though the replacement bike is a different colour. When I had not heard anything a few weeks later, I asked if there was any update on my order and got this response:
"We have contacted our supplier regarding this who have advised that the bike will be back in stock during May, if you would like an alternative please choose from the below"
So I selected an alternative from the list. Although it turns out that the alternative Land Rover boys bike offered was also out of stock until mid-May (not much of an alternative eh?) So I decided to wait until the bike came into stock in May. When it had still not arrived by the 21st June, I was offered a 20" bike instead. For a 3 year old boy. I politely declined this offer and opted to wait for the original bike.
I was then offered two cash alternatives, the highest of which was £78, which as the bike sells for £125, I declined. I was then told that I could wait until the bike came into stock in August which I reluctantly accepted.
I got this email from Beepy today:
" Dear Mr Hart, I have received a further update from our suppliers and I have been advised that the blue Bravo bike has now been discontinued and that we can only supply the Orange version and this will be available mid September"
So it now seems that the original colour I ordered is the one that is now available again but I have to wait until mid-September for it. The really annoying thing about all of this is that I could have one of these bikes within 24 hours from numerous online suppliers. I feel that Beepy have conned me by offering a gift that they have no intention of supplying, which amounts to false advertising. The only reason that I bought this phone from Beepy was due to the gift they were offering. I am currently in the process of contacting Trading Standards about this issue.
7:02 am
I had my phone in feb 2010 with the promise of cashback, this is an 18 month contract. I have had my contract changed three times by Beepy with out telling me. The paperwork is dated so I cannot make a mistake I sent all my claim forms in and bills, I have only had two payments, my third was due on the 8th December 2010. I contacted Beepy and was told by Tom my contract has been changed without letting me know, to make it easy for me, all my bills and claim forms are in and I must now send more bills in, Tom has sent more claim forms. My last cashback would have finished in April it will now be August if I get it at all, it is 11 month and I have only had 2 cashbacks, Tom said my 3rd cashback will now be Feb 2011. I think it is all about cash flow. I am told Beepy cannot change my terms and condition, the company stinks.
5:52 pm
I have also had my conditions changed without any notice - found out today by telephone when I phoned to query the cheque for 1p which I received instead of the £17.50 I expected (I sent my claim be recorded delivery at a cost of £1.15). My final cash back claim was to be in February 2011 but will now be February 2012. I am writing to beepy requesting the £17.50 which is due now and confirmation that I will received £17.50 in February 2011. I am giving them 14 days to respond otherwise I will be contacting Trading Standards.
7:59 pm
My phone order with beepy was sent out very quickly no problems there, Took this on because it offered cash back vouchers, that's when the problems started You had to send out three air time bills per cheque back, and getting your money is a nightmare, customer service is a waste of time just kept telling me the cheque is in the post, eight times i have rang them, been waiting since November for latest cheque, today rang again asked to speak to a manager i was told she would ring me back, after waiting two hours rang back again to say still waiting, phoned t-mobile and terminated my contract with them because of it,I will be reporting them to trading standards after this blog.
