One of the great things about Google is they are continually updating their mobile services and applications, striving to make usage of those products as easy as is possible, delivering a great experience to the end user. You may have noticed today that Google have changed the layout on their main web page, and this new setup is replicated on Google Mobile search on iPhone and Android devices.

When you enter a search term in the search box there is a button on the left hand side that you can tap that will bring up a new search options menu. Bringing this menu into view does move your search results off to the side of the screen, but you can easily pan across to view these.

The new search option is currently available on US based devices, accessing google.com, but Google will be rolling out this update to other locations and devices over the coming weeks.
