LG have announced three new handsets, being launched under the brand name, Wink. The handsets are squarely aimed at the emerging teen, first time buyer market, with a core focus on music, texting and social media.
The budget range of handsets include the LG Wink, the LG Wink Style and the LG Wink 3G. The devices are available in a range of colours, and have a bright, colourful menu user interface. All of the devices have are touchscreen, with onscreen virtual QWERTY keyboards, expandable memory via Micro SD memory cards, FM radio and digital camera.
LG stated “Just as a wink is an affectionate means of communication between close friends, LG Wink Series was designed primarily for young mobile users who enjoy expressing themselves in unique and stylish ways whether by phone, or one of today's most popular social networking tools.”
