The best of the new LG range was announced before MWC09, with the LG KM900 Arena taking the spotlight. However, the Korean manufacturer still had some exciting handsets to shout about at this years Congress, as well as a rather nifty line in wristwatches….

The LG GC910 is a quad band GSM device, supporting HSDPA. With a touchscreen, the GD910 has a camera, uses speech recognition for menu commands and calling, and is water resistant. The display is 176 x 220, not a lot to shout about when it comes to phones, but then the GD910 is not a phone, it’s a watch! A serious contender for gadget of the year, no doubt.
Other highlights from LG include the LG GM730, and KT770 (Where are all the cool names like Chocolate? Venus?)
The GM730 is a slim line handset, running on Windows Mobile. LG are looking to release a strong line of Windows handsets, promising 50 devices between now and 2012. Fully touchscreen, the GM730 has support for A-GPS, WiFi and incorporates a 5.0 Megapixel camera.
Meanwhile, with the KT770 LG have a handset that runs on S60. This particular handset is running on S60v3, so no touchscreen, but it does offer FP2. Aside from flashy menu animations, FP2 offers really good power management options, enabling you to squeeze the best out of your battery on a daily basis. Incorporating a 5.0 Megapixel camera, the LG KT770 has a large 2.8” screen, offers 3G with HSDPA Mobile Broadband, and will come with either 1 or 2 GB internal memory capacity. This can be expanded with the addition of a Micro SD memory card.
