Sony Ericsson have announced a partnership with ESPN that will give consumers who purchase a Sony Ericsson Xperia device between now and November 26th free access to Premiership highlights and goals on their handset.

ESPN

ESPN have obtained the agreement of the Premiership to run this offer in conjunction with Sony Ericsson, which will allow users to access live clips of goals shortly after the end of the match. The offer is available for anyone who purchases a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, Xperia X10 Mini or Xperia X10 Mini Pro.

The offer runs for three months, at the end of which you can choose to cancel access or sign up to the standard monthly package which costs £3.99 a month, or alternatively you can sign up for a full season at £29.99 a month.

Additionally, Sony Ericsson and ESPN are also offering the opportunity for users to win a 'footballers salary', in a competition that is being supported by TalkSPORT, the commercial radio station. The contest will run for four weeks, and gives Xperia owners the option to select their favourite three goals from a choice offered by TalkSPORT. Weekly winners who manage to match the three chosen by the radio station stand the chance to win £1,000, with everyone who enters the competition placed in a draw to win a footballers salary of £100,000

Senior Marketing Partnerships Manager at Sony Ericsson, Richard Dorman, said: “The ESPN partnership and TalkSPORT 'win a footballers salary' prize build on previous marketing programmes and perfectly compliment our existing football portfolio. Our approach is to provide our customers with instant mobile content, enhance their fan experience and bring them closer to the much loved game. The retail offer ensures that purchasers of our Xperia range will reap the reward of free Premiership goal highlights with the additional bonus of the chance to win a footballers salary.”
